Celebrity Werewolf is my new novel, published by NewCon Press. The book launches at Eastercon 2019.
Suave lycanthrope Gig Danvers appears mysteriously in a near-future, post-UK England. Seven feet tall with a proper snout instead of a hairy human face, Gig is a werewolf all the time, regardless of the full moon or time of day.
Despite his appearance, he is a decent, profoundly moral individual who sets about revolutionising science and technology for the benefit of humanity.
However, he is hindered by his past, which he has no knowledge of, his status as the only supernatural being in the world, and the brutal rise of fascism as England teeters on the brink of civil war.
And are his critics right to be cautious? Is there a darker side to this enigmatic benefactor – more in keeping with his status as CELEBRITY WEREWOLF?
Award-winning author Adam Roberts had this to say about the book:
Fang-sharp science fiction: witty, readable and simply bristling with lupine splendour
Eastercon 2019 runs from 19-22 April at the Park Inn, Heathrow, London.
Congratulations, NewCon always publish good stuff, so I’ll be along to the book launch!
